The original E'Y-Akh Class Destroyer was built by the Huppla Pasa Tisc Shipwrights Collective on Geonosis two decades before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. The E'Y-Akh was designed to defend the Geonosis System from pirates and other outlaws. A number of the vessels were lost during the First Battle of Geonosis to superior GAR firepower. The majority, however fled to other Separatist safeworlds, where they underwent refitting into the Mk2 variant. Both designs have four forward mounted missile tubes and a heavy particle cannon was found between the three prongs at the front. The Mk1 boasted 4 medium twin-barreled turrets, while the Mk2 has 2 medium twin barrel turrets, 4 medium quad-barrel turrets and 2 heavy turbolaser batteries.
