Giftart for Defilerwyrm. :) Entirely done digitally...and done a lot different than usual for me. I made a sketch, then carefully painted a solid wolf figure over it on a different layer, then removed the sketch. There is NO lineart on this image. :P
Given how time consuming and brainmelting this was, it won't be an oft-used method...but the results are pretty good. :) A lot of credit must go to Thefelinecanine and her lovely fur tutorial and her how-to-make-things-glow tutorial. Both were helpful, though I ended up not using much from the fur tutorial. :P
The paws make me squee. Paws are hard, and these came out pretty nice if you asked me. :D

Here's a tip, since this is the style I work exclusively in, that may help you: retrace the line art on a new layer, and then do your work UNDER the line art, removing it at the end. That way you never cover over your reference as you're painting. it works for me, but yeah, no matter what it is VERY time consuming! :D
