Maybe do soft shades of brown for shepherd. Think it would be a neat contrast and lots of fun with the different colours.

Like make the dog a different color than her tail? o-o; I didn't think about that.

Yup yups :) that is my opinion at least :) play around with different shades of brown try a nice soft light brown possibly and if you don't care for that go a little darker or even do a black or white Shepherd go for it have some fun with it and see what you like best! Thank you! The species actually belongs to  japanda and I did credit her on the original picture I drew of this pup. I'll have to look into that - I actually really like the idea of the differing colors. I'm thinking brown/reddish-brown to hues of red and pink for the eel now. I really appreciate the advice. c:

Personally I like it, but I'm kind of partial to these colors. I think it looks really cool. Unfortunately, I think German shepherds are one of those breeds that are more recognizable by their colors, those tawny browns and blacks.
