*foams at mouth*
The other day, I was making toast, and I ran out of grape jelly, so I had a bit of a crisis. I could go with just buttered toast (BORING) or do an action-hero-style run to the grocery store for some jelly. As you can probably guess, I went with the latter.
And I pulled it off.
Seriously, having a squirt gun, a black tux with a black tie and sunglasses makes me feel awesome. Also, doing action-hero-style driving through snowy intersections makes it even better. On top of that, when I went into Walmart, I was totally having a ball. I would run up to an employee action-hero-style (somersaults, back/front flip, or wall plant and dive for cover), and totally freak them out by ordering to do things with 'no time to explain.' I found jelly, saved the day, and bought cheap Christmas lights and glass ornaments.
So I got home, and now I have an empty glass Smucker's grape jelly jar and a bunch of Christmas lights. Thus, this came around.
Bokeh.
And I love it (foams at mouth and passes out)

I saw the setup shot and it's definitely made me want to try my own. The colors are righteous, I would say trying shooting at a lower iso if possible so they come out stronger and maybe put some other Christmas lights in front of the jar but out of the shot to just add some light to the front for detail.
Dunno, I'll try myself and see if it does anything. But awesome man!

Thanks! I've done it before (link), but it didn't turn out this well. As for the critique (thank you, btw), I was at iso 100 :P I spent hours trying to get the colors right between my camera and lightroom, and this was the best one I could get (it was also done without using lightroom :D). As for adding some lights to the front, I don't exactly know what you mean, so if you try it, I'll take a look :3
