Ooh! Awesome! Back stories! Well, at least for Chris and Stan. Gaydar is, well, Gaydar. :)

It's very interesting all that happened to Chris as a result of the final match against Stan. What was her original color? The unhealed, black eye is a super cool, added touch!

Stan's feelings from last year make it interesting to think on how he'll battle in the competition. Will he hold back? Or is he kind of like Goku from DragonBall where he wants to see others do well so he has a worthwhile battle in the end?

Of all the art here, I'm most impressed with Chris. Her appearance in both shots makes her cute, yet determined. Nice work and a great reminder of what is to come. :)
