Yesterday on Thanksgiving, my roommate and I went walking in the woods behind my house and came across this beauty. I'm keeping the sinew on it until after I get a few sketches in first. Then we will go through the process of cleaning it.

For now I'll keep myself washed up every time I touch it, and will keep it in a small box with it covered in tissues. I'll have to clean my blanket, too, since that's what it's on in this photo. xD;; I wanted it to be more interested instead of just on the wood in my room. >8c

Also, I am not 100% certain it's a raccoon skull, but I'm pretty certain it is. I looked up the other skulls of carnivores in my area and nothing else looks like this.
Maybe one of you will know for sure?


I love skulls and stuff like this. <3 Though I found it weird that the rest of the body wasn't there. Just the skull. hmmm.
