The Big Easy was certainly a good setting for the Pelicans' offensive show today as they feasted on Alan Baker's pitching. Before being yanked out in the fifth, the lemur gave up 7 runs and two home runs including a blast from Jillian Orozco that landed three across the plate in the 5th inning. Mattias Vers also seemed to have the game of his life, going into the eighth inning while throwing ten strikeouts, the most he'd done all season, with just three hits marring his performance. The Swamp Foxes looked punch drunk by the end of the game and need to rally for tomorrow's Game 4, with Jane Howard toeing the line versus the Pelicans' Kris Stellner.
