The Crescent Moon Class Frigate was commissioned by the Intergalactic Banking Clan two years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. What Republic Intelligence has yet to learn, is that a number of these vessels have been retrofitted for use for Research and Development to help the Separatists win the war.
