Thinking about doing a little redesign of my character.
This is just a rough plan out but i would like some feedback.

What you've got here is working pretty nicely. :)
Your artwork grows so fast- haha it makes me happy.
I'm gonna pick this apart a little but I don't mean ill or to discourage you by this okay?
The anatomy in the feet and hands could use some work- try exploring them from the bones, muscle, skin upwards. (like draw that all on separate layers/ tracing paper and overlap it- it will help clarify and make them a working solid structure instead of an ambiguous mass. Most of character acting comes through #1face #2hands #3 body language). Also some inconsistencies on the ribcage width from drawing to drawing (on the back it looks narrower but the side view looks really thick. Would like to see some hand poses to show how those and the feet work/ look while moving.
Also on the side view the ears are looking like they are a bit far back?
I like his unique hair... mane? design (the shape of his "hair" on his head and upper shoulders X'D) I would push that a little more so he is more recognizable in silhouette, yup. That niche that defines the separation of neck/head could be clarified and it would work to your benefit as a character deign to strengthen the look & mood.
Ok and the shoulders and hips are really close in size- I'm not sure of the personality of this guy but I can't tell if he's supposed to fast/ crafty/ strong/ etc. Like because his body is pretty average I don't get personality (you could give him accessories or tweak the body shape a bit). I see it alot on this site, and it's the korean/japanese/anime manga/mmorpg influence (is my guess).
It works for east asian designs only because these cultures have a lot of symbolism but USA lacks a lot of that/ expresses it differently.
For example: You know when you look at somebody on a sports team and know they play basket ball vs football vs table tenis XD or if they are defense vs offense. Muscle doesn't just show up, it's through exercise that it forms.
There is the obvious muscle cut and deff. but even though he's cut I don't get a read on how he would fight or what exercise made him that ripped etc?
If you need me to clarify let me know. Or if you wanna dispute any of my crit or defend your design :)
Glad 2 c u doing design sheets!

You my friend deserve a cookie.
Ive always had a hard time with hands and feet. Looks like one of those things ill have to draw specially more of. Those poses should give some clarity along with the layer build up. I will try that.
Now that i have a second reinforced look at the side view. Im am now realizing allot more mistakes now. The ears, shoulders and ankles have drifted from there respected position. And the way i rendered the shoulder looks a little awkward. That will have to be fixed. I see a little what you meant about the rib cage but can you tell me more?
And yes. I confess the cookie cutter sin (now I see it). I try to avoid it but often forget while reframing from great exaggerations in the figure that i don't really want. Seems it led me to neglect that concept you pointed out. What would you think of a UFC or soldier type of physique? How could i make them stand out?
Im now comparing the hips and shoulders to other photo references. Im having a little hard time seeing the great difference. I did keep in mind to keep the shoulders wider than the hips. Was it not enough?
And thank you for the critique, This actually helped me realize allot more than i knew before.
lol, Kinda stuck on a FA streak. I need to hop over to Conceptart at some point for improvement.
