yes we can learn a lot form animals. Cats taught me a lot about things too, about seeking comfort, and what's really important in life, and how to live in the moment. how to be more open, physically. because essentially deep down inside, we all want the same thing. Oddly enough, it seems like i've become more of a cat person in recent times. Canines are ok, but not my style anymore.

A while back I found I had a lot in common with goats, their behavior, how they handled situations and other creatures when encountered. I still have LOTS of canid traits, but embrace my goat ones as well.

While you're right about the lesson one can learn from a simple game of fetch, it reminds me of an Eddie Izzard joke about what dogs must think while playing fetch.

"Oh, he seems to have dropped his stick, I think I'll go and get it for him. Here you go, and you've... dropped it again. Okay, I'll get it again. There you go, now don't drop it this time. Oh, there it goes again. Aha, I've got it, but you'll just drop it again, so I won't give it to you this time!"

It's an excellent piece, definitely one of the best I've seen here on FA, and I envy your skill.

Haha! I had not heard that one before. I think it may work for some dogs, but others - they are just so amazingly focused on fetching it's borderline insane. One of my dad's old dogs used to try to haul back entire tree limbs (rather sizable ones!) for him to throw. Goofy canines!

I do love whiskers, too! But this pup seems to have those super tiny wispy sorts, barely noticeable and due to the small size of this, I couldn't make them look right. :<

yeh, the title reminds me a scene from the movie "Princes & Frog" that was released by disney about an year-3 ago where Louise/Lou the crocodile say's "I Found A Stick!" and the "princes" named "Tiana" who was turned into frog aswell cuz she had kissed the "prince" who was cursed by the "Shadowman's" voodo to be the "Frog" and "frog-(Tiana)-princes" answered back to Lou: "Louise, ray say's u have brought us to wrong direction" or somthing like it, and Louise is like "Aha haa" and say's he was confused by the "topography,koreography&geography" for defence. the best part of that movie was the one where those three silly&Stupid bayou-village people smashed and bashed each other's and even their own face's, funny X).

anyway, agreed great picture there and your welcome from the wacth day or few day's ago.
and to be honest if i had such artistic skill's & work's as you do, id had bought a scanner allready before started on FA. but im kind "scrap"
quality artist i asume , meaning of course needing some practising on my skill's. and maybe my workgear wich is (PAINT) has it's effect aswell since it's so limited, tho im working on to get some a lot better working software for Digital-art stuff making.

so ima go on with "photography" mostly.
