Seeing that I often RP'd as them but never gone into in-depth explanation about such, I will be describing about each variety of my RP characters. Those who I frequently RP with will know, but if you don't know what, read on.

Self-explanatory, the characters are their normal selves, no alterations to them apart from their sizes if described.

-Plush-
Ah, plush. Who doesn't like plush beings that are alive? :3
Anyway, plush characters often resemble the plush versions of their kind. Depending on the size of them means on what their body would be like; Larger means more detailed look and close to the real thing, while smaller means a more 'chibi' look to them. However, their body structure doesn't alter if they're size-shifters, ones who are able to alter their sizes at will.
The bodies of plush beings are – normally – soft to the touch. Any scales a normal would had would be black lining patterns for a plush to mimic such, meaning the surface would be smooth instead of bumpy for each scale edge. Large numbers of fur, like a mane, would be braided clumps to represent such.
To the main point, they are alive but are usually inert around those they don't know or trust, or when they're in public places. This allows them to flawlessly blend in with any non-living plush around them. Though they do tend to stand out in appearance if in a different plush toy group (say a zoroark in a plush lion bin), so long as they remain motionless, anyone would think they were simply misplaced.
When they are around those that they trust or were 'bought', they would slowly move when the owners back is turned. This could be a point of mischief for some, often moving from one spot to another to play mind tricks with the owner. Even when the owner has their sights on them, most would still not move, largely due to uncertainty on how they would react. Toddlers they have no problems with due to the young minds, but older beings such as pre-teens to adults they would take their time before acting in front of them.
When it comes to their diet, they don't eat food normal beings eat, rather cotton or cotton-based products. This could range from socks to shirts, even to the point of non-living plush toys, but only those that have shown extreme amounts of wear and tear. This cotton, when ingested, slides into a hollow area in the belly of the plush, which is then reduced to a mist that will spread out and strengthen the skin of the plush, making them more resilient to damage. However, if a plush were to starve, their skin would weaken as a consequence, and would try to actively seek out food. This could be dangerous for some or the larger ones, since if they're large enough or have the proper abilities, could swallow a human whole.
Fear would be the first thing on the victims mind when eaten because of hunger, but for those who've strengthened their bonds enough with their living plush would be told of one ability almost all living plush creatures have; Reformation. Even if the human were to be digested, the plush would almost certainly reform them through breathing out a mist, colors depending on their preference. This is usually done on a flat surface, mostly a bed, in which the mist hovers on. The time taken could be up to around a minute to half an hour for the reformation to finish. When fully reformed, the human would be fine and healthy, and any ailments would be cured. This could be a possibly workaround for any severe curable illnesses, but this only affects the owner of the plush, no one else.
Plush creatures are also capable of forming zippers on their bodies, mainly on their backs or bellies. This could serve either as easy access to the inside of them or for if they like to act as storage for other objects. This could be used to humorous effects if there's enough objects lying around, leading to making the plush look bloated from all the objects stored inside.
But a question to this whole thing; What if you didn't 'buy' a living plush and instead found it in say a forest or dumped on the ground? The answer; It be like as though you bought the plush, though it would be thankful of you finding it. Should a person abuse the living plush? Best-case scenario is that their memory of the plush is wiped clean before leaving you for good. Worst-case? Eaten and never reformed.
However, if the bond between plush and owner is strong enough, the plush can be able to convert the owner into being a plush creature, but only if they would approve of such since conversion to plush creature is irreversible. This could be done either by swallowing down a small piece of their cotton, digested and reformed into such (this method takes a much longer period of time, spanning up to at least two weeks), or – a more violent and rarely used method – their physical body utterly destroyed before having their spirit absorbed to be reborn as the same species as the plush.
I feel that this is all the info I can spare on the plush, lets move on to the next one.

-Balloon-
Squeaky balloons. Inflate them to their full size and have fun. X3
Balloon ones are similar to plush ones, but are often found deflated and/or in bags in toy stores. Body structure also follows the same rules as the plush; Larger is more detailed, smaller equals chibi. The way to make them larger is to inflate them larger through their nozzle. It could be in a couple spots, like in their mouths or the tip of their tails, sometimes on their backs or bellies.
Balloon creatures follow the same set of rules as the plush ones do; Remaining motionless when in the presence of those they don't know or trust, or in public areas. This applies mainly when they're being inflated or when fully inflated, seeing that their incapable of movement when first made or taken out of the bag they're in. This is the time when they feel powerless, having been in this deflated state either when born or if they haven't eaten for so long. Even when inflated, once they start moving freely, mainly after their 'owner' is aware, they can manipulate minor physics, like not being blown away by a gust of wind.
Being made of latex, they also need to feed off of latex to survive. Anything rubber or latex-based would suit them fine, such as rubber bands, latex gloves or even liquid latex would do fine. If none of those are around, simply water would sate their hunger since their bodies are capable of converting it to liquid latex. When liquid latex is present in their stomachs and the skin transparent enough, others can watch thin streams of it root out from there, spreading throughout their bodies to strengthen their skin.
The transparency of the skin determines on how fed a living balloon is, provided they don't alter their size first. If it's easy to see through, they haven't eaten enough to sustain themselves. Opaque and hard to see through means they're well-fed and don't need to eat for a while. Transparency of skin doesn't determine just that, it also shows how resilient they are to damage. Clear-skinned ones would burst easily while those who have thick skin would be very difficult to burst.
There's a couple of perks when it comes to having a thicker skin for the balloon creatures. When they have more, they can be able to make themselves even larger, thankfully without help since they can take deep breaths to inflate themselves. This allows them to reach massive sizes without risk of bursting until they're transparent again. Of course this could also mean comical moments, in which they could inflate portions of their bodies to larger sizes, such as the tip of their noses/snouts, their heads, even their foot-paws as well. They could also inflate themselves to be rounder in shape, allowing them to float around at will.
It's also interesting when one tries to fill themselves up with water but not for nutrition. Being like regular balloons, they can hold in however much water they can, sometimes to where every ounce of space they take is filled. This could make them like water beds if large enough, and they allow others to rest on them.
One true benefit for them eating enough latex however, is when they become bio-balloons. When a balloon creature hits this stage, their body looks like a real version of the species they represent. Canine and feline ones would have rubbery fur, reptilians would have scales, and avian ones would have feathers, but can not be plucked. It's when they hit this stage is when they can be able to eat normal food as well as latex items. They can somewhat live off of normal food, but they'd still need such in order to maintain their status.
Back to the liquid latex, one should be careful if there's any that was made from a balloon beings stomach outside of it. Coming into contact with it will cause severe numbing of the body around the spot, only for it to spread as the body is being converted into liquid latex. The process is a bit violent based on the speed of such, and there's no way to stop it. Despite the conversion, no pain is felt thanks to the numbing beforehand. Those who are melted down aren't technically considered dead, more like in a sleep-like state between life and death. Limbo of sorts. Despite being on the outside of it, the balloon creature is able to absorb the liquid latex through contact, flowing directly into the stomach. From there they can divert a portion of it for their form of reformation.
It's roughly similar to what plush creatures do, but instead of blowing a mist onto a flat surface, they blow a small spherical balloon first from the latex they bring up to their mouths. The 'saliva' in their mouths mix with the latex, solidifying it enough to where it could then be inflated like a regular balloon. Once it reaches the desired size, they blow the reformation mist into it, letting it accumulate before biting at the end of the balloon, forming a tied nozzle and set it down on the ground. The time taken is a little longer than plush methods, up to forty-five minutes at times, as the being reforms inside. The 'reformation balloon' however does have oxygen to allow those reforming inside to breathe, and once fully reformed, the balloon creature can then bite into it, bursting it and freeing those inside, thankfully without the ear-ringing pop afterward.
If the person wants to be a balloon creature instead, all the latex that was made from them would be used up. A small balloon wouldn't be made, instead a much larger one. Once all the latex has been used up making the spherical balloon, the balloon creature forming it would blow into it again. Instead of the spherical one becoming even larger, it would shape itself into the species they are or what the person wanted. The nozzle for the husk would most likely be in the mouth once it's fully formed, allowing the one that's converted to inflate or deflate at will. Once the husk is finished, the persons essence would be placed inside, allowing control of the rubbery body.
That's all for this one, lets see what's next…

-Goo-
Squishy, runny, stretchy. Goo ones can be a bit odd, but fun once you've gotten used to them.
Goo creatures a bit more complex than balloon and plush ones. For one, they're made entirely out of semi-liquid fluids, and can manipulate their mass to any shape or form to suit their needs. To feel their bodies would be like touching the surface of a water balloon; Rippling as you rub about, but not bursting. The surface of it could also be warm or cold, depending on the temperature of the area, though the insides of them would mostly be warm. However, if need be, they can adjust the temperature themselves, provided they have the ability to do such.
Unlike the rest, they are capable of fully deforming their bodies, able to melt down to a puddle or form a giant portion of one of their limbs, say their head or a paw. To those out there with certain mindsets, keep the thoughts to yourself, if you would do so kindly.
Anyway…they can be able to make their bodies adhesive at will, though it will be by default when they're sleeping. How they sleep like is dependent on their preferences; They could sleep in a small ditch or crater as a puddle, or they could be whole and laying against a solid surface, like a tree or boulder. Those wandering about a location that is known to have a goo creature inhabiting it should take care of any odd-colored blots on the ground, for it could be a goo creature asleep in its puddle form. One hint of such is if bubbles seem to form on the surface and at a form of rhythm.
When it comes to their diet, almost anything organic is open for them to eating, even humans and such. When they encounter something they can eat, they'd either pull it towards their body, and soon into it via absorption, or melt themselves down and flow over the victim like an amoeba. When they reform, the victim will be in the stomach, the body able to keep them inside it provided they have enough mass to themselves.
How they work down their meals is dependent on how much acidic contents is in their bodies; If they have a low amount, the melting of the victims will be slow and could take up to days, a week at most. A high amount though and they could melt a victim down in a few hours. Fortunately, they have the innate to make sure the victim doesn't feel a thing, and might be willing to 'blind' – a thick globule of themselves over the eyes – them so they don't see the process.
Relating to mass, they can be able to make themselves larger, but not at will. Instead, they have to soak up liquids, such as rain, in order to grow larger in size. When liquids come into contact, the 'foreign' liquid is converted into the same substance as the goo creature, thus adding to it. However, they can allow themselves to simply reject the liquid, letting it flow off their body without adding it to their own. This can pretty much prevent an accidental surge in size when caught in a storm, where one could reach potentially thousands of feet or several miles in size before the storm ends.
One key flaw to them though; They lose mass if the temperatures are far too extreme for them to handle. If they have a resistance to fire, then they would be more vulnerable to the cold and vice versa. If they are exposed to such though, they would either freeze solid or their bodies would slowly boil into steam, losing mass at a constant rate.
This is kinda all the info I got as of now. I will try to add more since this one is quite possibly the shortest entry of the bunch. .3.

-Glass-
Shiny and can make a fair bit of music if they're able to move correctly. Also a bit of a variation I'm recently getting into thanks to an old game.
Glass ones are quite unique in and of themselves; Made entirely out of a glass-like material that clinks and clanks each time they move, but thankfully able to keep it down to a whisper-like level. Their structure is made up of a 'skeleton' of the base creature, which thankfully isn't visible to others, with the 'flesh and skin' of them made out of billions of other, smaller shards.
Think like a broken window, then arranged into the form of the creature you'd be seeing. That's what most of these creatures are made of, and extremely thankful that simple contact doesn't harm other beings, since the shards would be smooth to the touch. Almost like as though that, if regular glass was able to mold itself, was folding with the creatures movements.
Like goo creatures, they're found mostly in the wild for larger varieties of them. Smaller ones around half a foot in size or smaller, would be on shelves of stores, posing as glass statuettes. Those found in the wilds would appear as giant crystal formations, easily visible due to the light they take in and reflect all around the area.
Due to them being made of glass, it's only natural that they'd be able to absorb and reflect any lights that fall on them. Be it sunlight or artificial light, it would pass through their bodies and be reflected around the place. It also makes them highly visible, able to stand out quite easily should one be passing through the area during sunlight hours. Despite the visibility, they'd still remain motionless, mainly so that the attention of those they attracted would leave the area.
Also like goo creatures, they can morph their bodies, but not all that freely. Most of the time it's to form solar panel-like panes on their body and absorb light to store within them. This is usually done either as a form of defense where the light's fired as a beam, size-alteration rays, or – in the case of someone gaining their trust and earned a stay inside them – a temporary light source, mainly when night is approaching.
When it comes to eating, they eat anything glass related, including the base material sand which was used to make said items. If they eat glass items, their mouths are capable of being a 'flash furnace', able to melt through the glass easily without shattering the rest. This doesn't hurt them nor any other being that is caught in the middle for reasons unknown, though those in the middle will feel a comfortable warmth each time the mouth flares up. Once the glass bit has been reduced to a small pile of malleable material, it's then swallowed down as the throat seems to flash-furnace as well.
Much like the mouth, the glass would deform even further, but instead of it staying as glass, it would seem to slowly revert back to sand. Any living beings, such as humans, that go through this will not be harmed, and much like in the mouth will experience a soothing warmth along the way. When it reaches the stomach, instead of glass falling into it, sand would be deposited. To those who land on it would find it quite comfortable, like as though the sand is submerged in water despite the lack of such inside. The sand would be 'digested' similarly to those of plush creatures, but instead of making them more resilient to damage, they would grow larger in size.
Those that feel they're getting too large can be able to 'shed' a good amount of themselves, making a non-living crystal formation to keep themselves small. This would result in limbs missing for them, but they can easily shift their mass much like goo creatures can and reform themselves. Speaking of, if anything is capable of removing a limb, say an explosion, they can be able to either regrow it at the cost of their mass or find the severed limb, put it back and mold it back onto themselves good as new.
However, if one were to shatter their trust, the consequences could be the same as the others; memory wipe, or digested to add to their mass. This could also work for if they were to convert others into glass creatures as well. They would be converted into sand, but brought out and flash-furnaced, melting the sand into glass and molding them into the shape of the desired species and body structure. Once the shell is complete, they would transfer the essence of the being into the shell, giving it life and serving as the new body of the converted.
That's all for this entry that I can spare, lets see what's next.

I'll be honest, the plush and balloon ones aren't entirely my original idea. They're rather heavily refined and modified versions of ones that one user here used for several stories. Said user in question is
shadowlugia249, though it's a shame that said user pretty much vanished off the map. I'm thinking either they have kind of moved on from their interests at the time or...passed on. Still, I salute said user for the wonderful stories they had made, for their legacy will live on for quite a long time.
There will be more as I make them, so this document is pretty much considered a continuous WiP. Oh, and not exactly listing anthro since I feel that those don't entirely count.
