Never let a dragon blow the candles. You could be disappointed.
Well, that took a really long time. Just too long. I suffered from a lack of motivation, and the few times I actually tried to draw I was getting discouraged because I just couldn't get that drawing to look good to me. The shadows just look weird, and I failed the effect with the wings.
Otherwise, I'm glad this is finished. I first had the idea of this drawing back in March, when for my birthday my parents accidentally bought candles that couldn't be blown. That means I can go on with something else now, and be sure ideas come much faster than I do my drawings.

Well, happy birthday to the dragon
Have hugs and cheers.
On a slightly more serious note, i would have to draw dragons at an angle to get any depth perception, and life feel into them, but you seem to have gotten some of that even without drawing the dragon at an angle.
Is it a reference to the Auron and Hazel story that have been going for a year?

Thanks ^^
I guess shadows do a lot for the depth perception, whatever the position is. But drawing dragons from face view is just hard as hell >< There are a lot of anatomy mistakes and even a major one that a friend of mine pointed out.
And this isn't really a reference to the story. But yeah, considering AuRon is strongly inspired from my OC which is himself strongly inspired by the original AuRon...
