Woot! ROBO-RIFFIC DESIGN!!

I dunno about the colouring style. If you ask me, definitely not suited to this style of mecha. Might look more at home with more Real stuff, like Macross. That's just me, though. Some of it does look good; the gems stand out nicely with the contrasting shading, and it's probably a bit less cartooney than your usual style. Plus some of the shading looks really good. But, it does make the errors and shortcuts a lot more obvious. (See: Sword pommel, end of sheath). Though I dunno how long you spent on this pic so it could just be rushing.

I'd say experiment more with it. Could look really nice with some more work, and maybe in a less jokey context. I like the pic anyway, but I'm in a pretty good critique mood. :3 Hope it gave some help~

Getter Rekka was exclusive to the Japanese PS1 game Getter Robo Daikessen. It's similar to the Super Robot Wars games, only the battle scenes are 3D and it only has Getters. Due to this, there's not that many pictures of it.
