Like so many pet fumis, venti's story begins with abduction. 4 years ago it was just a puggle when a band of poachers ambushed it's fog in the dead of night.
Despite the nurse's best efforts, venti and two other baby fumi's were taken; smuggled offworld and brought to the planet earth. The crime ridden slums of
Brasilia (capital of Brazil) served as it's new home until Theodore Langston (aged gentleman, globetrotter, and avid wildlife collector)
stumbled across venti and bought it on the spot. It was flown across the globe to Langston's home in Ireland, to be kept in his extensive menagerie. Initially, venti was thrilled
to be among other animals again, but it quickly learned that it was different from the others. The little fumi grew bored, spending it's time seeking the menageries caretakers,
somehow knowing they would prove more interesting than it's animal companions, but it would only find the food and water they left behind. Venti evenutally gave up, succumbing
to the depression known of captive animals. A year passed and venti finally matured into a thug. The suprise of it's first plume of vapor brought a spark
back into it and it spent countless hours everyday weaving and shaping tendrils of yellow smoke, the constant use of its vapor forming organs eventually causing its emissions to become
heavy and dense. Throughout venti's enclosure, surfaces began to pick up up the golden pigments and it quickly learned a way to condense its vapor into liquid form and mixed it with
the juices of the various fruits it was given to make a wide variety of hues. Only three days had passed before one the caretakers noticed Venti's "paintings", oddly entrancing series of
swirls and colors, and reported it to Langston. Being a man of vision, he wasted no time in making the most of this opportunity and immediately contacted his young niece Rosalyn.
The young lady was an established artist, naturally her uncle entrusted her with Venti's care and support in it's artistic career. Venti now lives with Rosalyn in her expansive home located
on the island of Tortola (part of the British Virgin islands). It spends its days happily exploring its tropical home, attending all manner of artistic events and enjoying the rest of
it's days with it's human companion.
