random Gundam stuff that I've been kicking around.
Gundam X vs Wing Gundam- Ultimate Warrior- who would win- challange!

At first glance, GX has the clear advantage in firepower, but past the surface, both Mobile Suits are unbalanced to the point of making this an interesting fight.
GX's Satilite Cannon is one of the most powerful weapons in Gundam mythos, but it's Charge up time takes at least a minute, while the Buster rifle can be fired at any time, and clearly can destroy even a Gundam in one shot, giving Wing the advantage. However, Wing only GETS Three shots, and GX is the more manuverable of the two, with lighter armor.
Wing has the speed advantage, but Only while in bird-mode. GX is cappable of sustained flight for longer than Wing's robot-mode
So the fight would probably come down to bacic armorments, which BOTH Gundams are at a dissadvantage. Wing's only other ranged attack is it's head-vulcans, which are useless against anything but cannon fodder. GX has a highly accurate custom rifle, but it's firepower is as average as vanilla- and won't be able to dent Wing's Gundanium Alloy armor.
Bringing the fight down to beam sabers, GX might have the advantage with it's unique wideblade Saber, but Wing's shield is more effective in combat.
Also the pilots are complete opposites, Heero, piloting Wing, has Spartan-style training- practically bred for combat, and trained before he could speak. Absolute no-nonsense personality. Kills without hesitation, as long as it pertains to his mission. I question his adaptability tho-
Garrod, the pilot of the GX, is an immature rouge. I suspect his innability to take anything seriously is a coping mechanism for surviving in post-war earth. Despite inexperience, Garrod has been called a genious of adaptability, quickly learning new skills, (like learning space combat in 5 mins, WHILE being shot at) and is tactically unpredictable. He will consistently hesitate before using the Satellite Cannon, which might make his most powerful weapon, useless, against someone like Heero.
