In a moment of bonding to cope with the coming trials ahead, James and Roy not only manage to calm things down and try to reassert some unusual ideas of the journeys they've been through, but also devise a plan with the young Michael on how to traverse the southern streets.

Joss Whedon once said "Make it dark, make it grim, make it tough, but then, for the love of God, tell a joke."
I find this to be true, grim and depressing all the time can be a constant drain on people without having a joke once a while, and usually the better movies/games that dealt with horror manage to do this...most of them anyway.
This was also a good chance for me to expand a little on Roy's background as well as bring up a few odd things that they've experienced. Don't worry, we're gonna sink right back into grim shit the next chapter.
