Maybe because he's blue? I like it though. Maybe spelled a bit differently. :)

I was thinking more Sa-Fire. It looks more masculine that way and it puts a spin on how the word itself is made. What do you think?

Cool beans. Azule popped in my head. Seems it came from azure, which is a light shade of blue. Funny how that happens.

That's what I thought of when I saw it! It also makes sense since he is blue after all (well, more of a teal/turquoise, but close enough).
