Got the flash of an idea for this while listening to Zeppelin's When the Levee Breaks. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-AanPHMbC4), even though there isn't anything remotely close to a levee in Phoenix.
I even thought up a little story behind it while stoned. Something like this:
July 23rd, 2009. It's 115 degrees. The collective consciousness of the Tweaker-Zombies of Phoenix snaps. Every single speed-freak goes crazy (well, more than they already are) and starts destroying things. Then the Mexicans get in on it. After two weeks of revolt and amphetamine-powered madness, even Psycho Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his gang of brownshirts can't stop them. The Sheriff's department resorts to moving down tweakers, Mexicans and innocent people with their Armored Personell carrier. Eventually, though, even they are overrun, and the APC is stolen by the meth-zombies. One of them is actually able to formulate the thought in his charred head that in order to most successfully take out their rage against the normal folks, they should take the APC (Fortunately this tweaker served in Iraq, before getting hooked on crank, and was able to drive the thing) load it up with explosives, and drive it on over to the Palo Verde Nuclear Power plant. They do it, and the result that you think happens happens.
Flash forward something like 250 years. Somehow furries arrive on the planet. I'll just say they are aliens form the Dog star Sirius, to make things simple. They manage to take up habitation in the ruins of wrecked human civilizations.
This scene here is Triad riding a Hoverbike from a small fox colony in what was once Wickenburg, AZ, to the former Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix on a drug run to pick up flown in goods from Mexico.
Oh yeah, and don't get me wrong here. I love Phoenix. I'd hate to see it get nuked, because I'd probably be dead too.

Hey thanks. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you on that PM. Other than being stressed out from work and going to the hospital briefly. I'm not doing too bad.

i will come back soon i just needed some time just being with real life loved ones and such. i am doing well for the most part just real lonely ya know. when you lived with someone for years and then one day they are just gone forever it's pretty hard. why were you in the hospital are you ok?
