My new Kickstarter project is now live! Please consider backing it!

Buttons that speak out against harassment, with the customer service industry particularly in mind. I work a retail day job in order to pay the bills and what customers get away with in regard to how they treat employees is disgusting. With the project, I'm hoping to do some good. Employees can make a statement without confronting anybody, and if even one person rethinks how they treat others as a result of seeing a worker wearing one of these, I'll consider the project a success.

I'll give once I get paid the 4th :D this is a great project ^^
I had a co-worker getting harassed by a customer, then he leaned towards her (she was next to a wall so could go backwards) and asked if he could kiss her. Luckily she got some backbone, told him straight out NO and to gtfo. Our boss have blacklisted the man and we can now call security if he enters the shop ^^; I'm glad my boss see why we wouldn't want customers that act like that.

unfortunately I doubt many bosses would be okay with employees wearing these. I know my old retail manager wouldn't have let me...
the "lack of laughter means you are not funny" and "I'm here to work not to entertain you" could be taken the wrong way by innocent or shy customers. if I say a worker wearing them and didn't know they were about harassment, I'd just think they were passive aggressive and off-putting

It depends on the workplace. I know not every workplace would be on board with letting employees wear buttons (period), but the buttons also apply to street harassment and could be worn in other situations to address the same issues.
While that might be true, if the employee is courteous and friendly while wearing any of the buttons I doubt any customers would take offense. If they ask, an explanation can be given. And if any offense is taken, they're simple to remove.
