Can't have a fantasy fiction without a cat thief now, can we? Not to mention thieves guild is the go-to source for information and that will save me a lot of trouble in the future.

Having watched Spice and Wolf, I really like how they involve tradings make them supersrs (it's a merchant war, afterall). Having Cale and Fer (Such name, many creative, very wow) added in as currency should make it easier to come up with small villages because a continent should have more than just one big town in it.
