I'd like to share that, thanks to Lil Moon over at Deviant Art, I finally have a "Snowdrop" of my very own.
With any luck, Meredith should be receiving her's soon, too. It's truly an epic plush that was well worth the wait.
I plan on bringing Snowdrop to my desk at work. It is here I am often at my loneliest as I am surrounded by so many reminders of how my sight is diminishing and that the ability to do my job is becoming less-and-less. With Snowdrop by my side, I will have a physical reminder of what I took away most from the animation. This being that "I will not need my eyes to find my place in the world."

I'm actually working with BronyCon to see if I can make a panel that focuses on overcoming disabilities. If I get it to happen, I'm going to try and see if "Silly Filly Studios" (Who Made Snowdrop) would lend me the writer / VA to help me put on the panel. Wish me luck! :)

What I enjoyed most was how Meredith Simms of "Silly Filly Studios" answered my question at their panel at this past year's BronyCon. She was very passionate and concise. Made me cry hearing her respond to my emotional statements.
Thanks to EverFree Network, I can queue that up at anytime. I may need to use it to show how I am, sort of, established and a good Brony to help make a panel work that uses Snowdrop as a lead character to how disabilities can be worked around. :)

I posted this to the "Silly Filly Studios" FaceBook page to show Lil Moon how much her work meant to me. Lil Moon REALLY wanted to be at BronyCon 2013, but was unable to. This is why I was okay in giving her my promo card, along with funds, for this work. I gave her a part of BronyCon and, in exchange, she gave me Snowdrop.
I'm hoping Lil Moon will be able to make it to BronyCon 2014. I'd like to thank her personally for her work. I'd also, if I get this panel going, like to have her be there and see her Snowdrop in my hands as I would speak. That is, if I am needed to speak based on the list of folks I am mentally putting together as "Backups" if my initial plans fall through.

The fact you figured out its the kitchen is pretty good. Though, from that angle, you won't see much beyond paper towels, a dish strainer, the sink, and a pile of dishes ready to go in the dishwasher. :)

holy carp she's big, I thought my murkrow plushie was big but she looks even bigger :U
AAAUGH I can't wait to see Farfy! I will tots show you a picture of him. I told the commissioner to make even the cane and the glasses out of fabric so by no doubt it's going to be adorable <3

My excitement to see Blind Duck is just as much as it was for me to see this Snowdrop. The fact the glasses and cane will be of fabric will make it extra cute and a wonderful companion for Kyle.

*Snugs* And that's what she's all about, my dear friend. A positive role model to look and touch while I'm alone at work in need of a firm reminder as to how, no matter what, I'm going to be okay. :)
As for her size, I was very surprised at how big she is. I didn't expect her to be small, but this is HUGE!
All the more reason for folks to see her when I get moved into my smaller, more open cubicle in mid-December. :)

My heart sings to have her in my possession. Especially as I can "Feel" her. My eyes may be failing, but my sense of touch is not. A simple touch and glimpse will certainly keep me positive on work days where the solitude makes me feel a little less than I'd like to feel.
