I had a table at a craft fair this last Saturday. (Maybe I should post some photos up of that soon.) Something I was surprised by when they sent out the logistics information, though, was that they weren't planning on using the overhead lighting, so they said we should bring our own lights. I luckily had some IKEA lamp bases, which I had acquired with the intention of making lamp shades for (before some stuff happened and I ended up not doing that). So I very quickly designed some lamp shades for them, and laser-cut the parts.
Made of 1/8" thick Baltic Birch plywood, plus some cardstock. One of the constraints I had for myself was that the lamp shades would need to pack down to as small as possible, because I would need to be packing them, along with all of my other craft fair stuff, into a suitcase and a couple tote bags. (I don't have a car, so I had to pack really tightly and take public transportation to the craft fair.)
Pardon the weird lighting, it's almost impossible to take photos of light sources and not have it be kind of weird.
