That is a spinybacked orbweaver. Gasteracantha cancriformis
It is very common to florida, and often called a crab spider but it is not related to any of the familie of crab spiders.
It's not poisonous to humans, even if it looks very scary.
I think it's a beautiful spider. =^^=

Not always true, some of the species do have males with spines, but the spines are a lot smaller.
But all males have gray abdomens and are smaller than the females.
One time I got to see a red one, it was very cool.
