wait though, wouldn't it be a bit counter-intuitive to have a pokemon know TWO fighting-type moves, drain punch and mach punch? I personally think that mach punch isn't as needed, with less beneficial aspects.

well, mach punch is useful for finishing off weakened enemies that could otherwise outspeed and revenge kill you, while drain punch is used for more power and healing yourself when speed isnt an issue
though it would probably work better on naturally slower, bulkier pokemon like conkledurr
