"Djuty" is the translitteration of Thoth's name in hieroglyph. Also, mainly I might have drawn this to show some of the less known deities of the egyptian pantheon:
Upuaut, god of the underworld, Renenutet goddess of harvest, Taweret goddess of childbirth, Aton god of handjobs (no, seriously, all those hands, I mean, c'mon).
I surmise there might be a couple of things to explain:
Ramses II was one of the longest reigning Sovereigns of ancient egypt, having ruled for sixtyseven years; Ay was the sovereing who, presumably, definetly abolished the cult of Aton (or Aten), enstablished by Amenhotep IV Akhenaton to oppose the theban clergy whom had immensly grown in power under his predecessors. I think that other deities might have a bone to pick with Aton beacuse, in his (admittedly) brief "life span" most of the prerogatives of various deities had been condensed in him -life giver, sovereign of the underworld...-.

As it is often the case for ancient deities their "domains" are not so strictly set as we are sometimes prone to believe. Egyptians also had hundreds of gods, many of which, more or less, had the same area of influence. However each city had it's city deity, and the importance of said god in the whole of Egypt was often bound to the importance of the city itself. Upuaut was god of Abydos, in the vicinity of which was the royal necropolis of the first dynasties, and for this reason he's been the main god of the underworld from the first to the twentieth dynasty (if I'm not mistaken), until the growth of importance of the Osiris' cult. He was also a war god, anyways.
Hmmm, interesting. My researches showed me that Upuaut was the god of Asyut/Zawty, 13th Nome of upper Egypt which was called Lykonpolis by the greek, but I might be wrong as you're pretty much studied in these matters. But Wikipedia backs up my knowledge.
I based my character's background story on these information, tho.

I might be learned but I can very well make mistakes :P anyways what you say is true but it does not necessarily invalidates my affirmation. However I cannot say that I'm sure about his cult in Abydos (and right now I have no means to check in depth, as I'm not at home) while I am pretty sure about his being big in the god of underworld department, seeing as he was the major death god of the aforementio ed period
