I have decided this character will be a pet for my fursona that she picked up from some foreign planet while traveling through space.

So he is feral and acts like a dog. o3o
Cake is the size of a cat and has cat-like feet that allows him to grip so he can ride around on Fawk's shoulders.

Cake can also change sizes and at times will change large enough for Fawk to ride like a giant floppy battle beast.
