Risky, but very funny for the picture :D
And if it pop "on the hands of the cat" he will never retry to play with balloons (a little sacrifice but GOOD ADVERT for you're cat )

Cats have exceptional hearing... there could be exceptional damage to it.
Other than that, nice scene.

they do have exceptional hearing yes, however an underinflated balloon tapping on the back of a cat's head when I know the cat does not jump but will merely look round at me means the hearing is not at risk

The problem with inflating in suit is I need to stop with enough neck to reach my mouth and if I want to be rough with it, having it very tight is just asking for it
