This is the komodo dragon. The biggest lizard on the Earth. They inhabit islands in Asia such as Komodo and Gill Dasami. Although huge, it is sadly a vulnerable species. It isn't endangered, but it's getting close to that. Fortunately, it's being protected. Komodo dragons have sharp claws, and can easily leave a gash. However, it's claws are nothing compared to its bite. Its mouth contains some nasty bacteria that acts like a poison. This deadly bacteria is born from the carrion it eats often. And, believe it or not, Komodos do possess poison. They'll eat anything, including deer, pigs, smaller dragons, and even large water buffalo and humans. The komodo is an ambush predator, striking at prey as soon as they get close.
