three of three from my current project batch.
i spent a few months trying to find this mini in a store here in the US. i suppose around the holiday season, every place i looked at online was sold out, the only one i could find was in England for about $60+ total, after shipping. found this one at the local gaming store (they just started carrying the rackham line) for $17. imagine my excitement!
i really love this model, the pose is astonishing. he's going to be a pain in the ass to paint, but i fully believe it will be worth it.

actually the hair will probably be the easiest part of the entire model. i plan to do him with a white pelt, and dark black fur for the hair. that means a dark charcoal base, a heavy drybrush of dark grey, and then a lighter drybrush of light grey, and maybe a few highlights of white here and there.
painting texture onto a textured surface is much easier than injecting texture into a predominantly smooth surface, such as the torso and arms.
