I've recently re-read the third series of Warriors before starting the fourth, and i've noticed a comment that forced me to draw this one XD
While Lionblaze and Hollyleaf decided to well.. you know that XD Among the first reactions of Jayfeather there was this one (sort, of ... just a thinking, before considering that if Brambleclaw wasn't their father they could have not be the Three)
And i found it very nice XD
Comments and opinions are extremely welcome ^^

Hehe really! XD I forgot how much of Warriors do you know Xp
Basically forbidden love is a key element (love and kits born between two cats of different Clans, or sometimes involving the medicine-cat that are forbidden to have mates). Also one of the key elements of the stories is that there is ever a "conservative" side of cats (in every clans) that's agressive and distrustful toward the other Clans, the half-blood and the ones born among humans.

Here's what I don't understand. While it's certainly a taboo for a medicine cat to have a mate, neither the warrior code nor the medicine cat oath say anything about the matter.
But now, regarding some Medicine Cats that were of Thunder- and RiverClan, we are left with a decision to make: Would the better spiritual leader be the Atheist or the Slut? xD

Honestly you're a genious! XD And one could wonder if it should be both an atheist and a slut xD
Seriously ... it's pretty much clear that intelligent medicine cats KNOW that StarClan is not exactly "something to be worshipped..."
Concering your proper question about why it's forbidden if it's not exactly stated or said... once again you're fully right xD
A pity none made the question in the books, for now.

I think StarClan was portrayed better in the first arc, when there were very few direct interactions with them, and they had a good balance between a hands-off approach to living cats, and intervening only after the living let the shit hit the fan. They were wise mysterious and powerful, and not just "yeah, we're a bunch of dead dudes...'k thnx bai..."
Yeah well... i've long learned to not expect much from Erin Hunter at this point, not after the ending of the first Seekers series (that i HATED and found pointless and a big disappointment, followed by an USELESS second series that i'm still reading v.v)
I mostly follow it because i care for characters.
Not to mention that the very last special-editon book set after the fourth series say ABSURD and contradictory things about the three powers: Lionblaze is described as being surprised and unused by every little small wounds he could get even from bushes or falling...
While in the series he was actually wounded multiple times, and it was only a real one-to-one battle that caused him to be invulnerable..
