Meavoi: rawr! Hai I be dergun!
Gaiaumeo: O hai there, I be dergun too!
M + G exchange pleasantries and talk for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the rest of the party kinda stand around awkwardly waiting to go on adventure UNTIL!
DM: Oh yeeeeeeah potato! Here comes a gryph! and he brought panthers! Magic Panthers! Magic Displacer Panthers that you can totally shoot an Orb of Acid at dead on and it goes RIGHT THROUGH!
*cue battle music*
2 rounds later, and the party is tripping up over all the rough terrain, and the gryphon's doing more damage to the panthers than the party is.
Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, the way DnD was meant to be played -.-
