NOT DRAWN BY ME -- I've seen commissions and gift art before here on FA in recipients' accounts so, am privileged to include this one in mine.
It's the first and, so far only, drawing made in my conbook and, it's by Mark Stanley of the webcomic "Freefall," who was also kind enough to give my furrsona his debut cameo in that comic strip, back when it was only available in B&W. Persistent link: http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff1200/fv01110.htm
Drawn at the 2012 MCRCA (ARRL Ham Radio) Fathers' Day Hamfest in Mark's hometown of Monroe MI, USA. I finally got around to cleaning the outgassed plasticizers condensed on the underside of my scanner's platen well enough to do it justice. Note: if you ever meet Mark, do not bring an Engineer along with you: they will talk shop instead of cartooning. "Freefall," along with "21st Century Fox" by Scott Kellogg, are the most scientifically-accurate Sci-Fi comics on the Web.

Hoping to get a sketch reminiscent of Bill Redfern's sitting Florence, from the Donator's Area link button of "The Cross Time Cafe" I asked for a "fetching" drawing of Flo. Leave it to Mark to give that a quite literal twist and embed a gag within a joke. I suspect that's my yellow Kenwood H.T. being tossed to the wolves there.
There IS a skeletal underdrawing to his work but, the pencils were intentionally not well-preserved in this scan. I'm hoping he or his colourist will eventually paint it after I send him the hi-res scans.
Thanks, Mark!
