Is it really necessary to put such a disclaimer? It sounds hostile, and leaves a feeling that you have a lot of resentment and very low expectations for your audience. However. This picture is absolutely adorable. I never imagined a tauren calf could be so cute. So. Good job on the artwork.

Yes, because I have had problems with just about EVERY piece of art with children in it. People saying very rude comments or sometimes sexual things. I'd rather people know such things will be met with hostility if they decide to not think before they type.

I don't think all of my audience is that way. However it takes only a few people to make comments or jokes about things like that to make me not even ever want to post personal artwork. I still post it with such disclaimers because I would rather pot artwork that is personal for those who can enjoy it, but try and ward of those people who are rude.

So yes, I hold a lot of resentment when it comes to personal art of my child characters.

Not trying to white knight or anything, But a majority of the furry community posts lewd, unneeded comments that they could very well just keep to themselves, Sometimes even on incredibly tame stuff like this. I personally think that it is necessary and doesnt sound hostile, But is instead requesting to keep her comment section clean and tasteful. all about perspective <3

I wouldn't say the majority, but there a few that like to purposely upset people on stuff like this. People who take it as something fun to upset people by making comments about dead baby jokes, coat hangers, abortion on things that are supposed to be personal and sweet. Somehow they think it is funny. And I guess they assume because I draw adult art that it is somehow ok.
I've taken down art recently due to this, but I still want to share it due to the fact I know many people who watch me enjoy cute baby pictures because they have children of their own. If I could I would just disable comments on pictures, but sadly FA doesn't have that feature.

Well, That's the internet for you. Lots of people with sick humor that need to keep it in their little corner of the interwebz. I've got nephews, so i certainly enjoy seeing your youngling art!
