Pretty impressive, regardless. The imperfections in the gaps and texture of the scales makes it look more alive.

Thanks man, tbh I could have done better, the neck area I wanted to get down quick so it didn't distract too much from the face x3

You could've worked more on it, but yeah, that would've taken away the focus from the face and more to the whole thing. It does look well balanced.

aside from the so elaborated scale pattern, i love the intense light from above. Makes the top of the head look like a whole world that i can stare at indeterminatedly
