Well this was a fun little break! I wanted to practice inks in sai again.
Was tromping through my old VCL, and found the sketch on the left. 2001! He's old but there's still something I dig about it. Gave me an epic sense of nostalgia since I used to dress pretty similar in school. (altered pants and all :D ) I fixed the proportions a little and made him look alive again.

I do have an old refsheet from a year ago, and another from about 9 months ago. I can totally see my improvements in those but I have a super long way to go. Your stuff looks so great. I forgot what picture exactly I watched you because, but this one I just had to comment on because I have at lest 3 friends that dressed just like this in high school. Your character here looks exactly like him if he were to be transformed into a dog. It is really uncanny.
