At Fangcon, something terrible/good happened. I put a $200 bounty on my mustache that if the Fandom could collect $200, I would shave it off with the money going to Tiger Haven. I never dreamed the furries would actually cough up the cash to do it! So... for the first time since 1973... I'm a naked Sabertooth! *sighs* During closing ceremonies, I wore my fursuit head out of shame. Enjoy my nakedness while you can. I'm growing my mustache back as fast as I can!

I was almost in tears when they shaved me. I haven't shaved in so long, I miss my mustache! It was all for the kitties though. My friend

Its like my dad. He never had removed his exept once a few years ago. He had it all mhy life, and since he was about 12. But I had mine since I was 10 till I graduated. But a lot of ppl would harass me for it, but it never took too much cause they were too chicken to grow one them self.
It seems like such a minor thing to hear someone donated their mustache for charity, but when you consider how long you've had it and how it's been part of you since before many furs were born you can begin to realize what a generous contribution it really was. Yes, it will grow back but I know that doesn't take away from how traumatic the shaving must have been. Thanks Keefur. *hugs*
I escaped Fangcon with all of my fur! Although I would have offered it up if asked. It's only been there since 1990. I gladly ponied up to get rid of that mess on Draconis's mug! It made the rest of us beard wearing guys look bad, especially considering it was the same color as mine!
