It looks nice! At a glance.. Hrm.. I'd say the ears look a little too far apart almost? Maybe the face structure is slightly odd.. Eyes are maybe.. too forwards, too close set? It's hard to put my finger on it exactly. Jaw shape is a little off center maybe, not quite centered on the face structure. Neck almost a little too long? The general shape of the muzzle (the left side of the muzzle which the viewer can see, which is on the right side of his face from our perspective) feels almost a tad too boxy.

I really like the highlights on the nose and the darker shoulder fur there in particular, it really helps push the shape/tone a lot of the fur! Also, I love the color shift to accentuate the musculature on the keel between his forelegs and and forelegs.

Honestly the color work is splendid - awesome use of value to not only represent what it's supposed to but also to push the depth and texture. Only thing that's throwing it off at all would be the face structure, I feel like. Just my two cents. :) Given the nature of the piece and medium I'm not sure what can really be improved upon at this stage, I'm sure they'll love it, I'm sure I would! But anyhow, that's all I can come up with a few moments' worth of glancing. Looks splendid. <3
