Acaris old and newest designs :)

The one on the left is her in 2008, she is already five years old ^^ Back then she was named "Antecanis", as some of you may remember. Her colors were a lot more dark and she had big, visible scales on her legs, spikes on heels and on her back.
I first changed her colors as I wanted her anthro form to be blonde like I am and blonde hair on such a dark coat looked rather... stupid. So I came up with those warm colors.
The spikes were replaced with feathers -- after all she is the missing link between dinosaurs, birds and mammals, so I wanted to show her bird roots.

I have to say I really like her old form and I will use her in future. I am planing to do a comic (wohooo) which will be LoZ related, featuring Wolf Link, Acaris, Aik and Coronia. Coronia and Aik already have her "dark" adult forms, you know, the haggard dogs with floppy ears and this could be Acaris' dark form she has if Link fails and the Dark World is created.
Now I just need to do a "normal/light" form of those three... *plotting*
