Losing control of her "Kite," Kika flies straight into a young, sapling tree which leads to her wonderous flying device getting shattered. Many seasons pass, and Kika now a young Aviatrix, returns to the scene, finding the tree that still bears the scars of the first day she ever flew.

From you that is quite a compliment. I consider drawing more "Visual" or "Pantomime" comics a far greater challenge than stories with scripted dialog. When I come up with a comic script I usually think out the visuals first because I feel the mark of a good comic artist is if one can follow the action of the work just by looking at the images, then the story should follow the action better. Besides, Visual comics can reach a broader audience and the series was expected to go "International."
Neat idea and nicely done.
My only minor critique is that after she falls from the tree and there's the POV shot of the boys looking down at her, I'd prefer to have another shot showing she was okay. The panel showing the seasons passing is a little confusing at first, but the end shot of her as an adult looking at the old scar on the tree and remembering the adventures of her youth easily makes sense and is a good ending.
