Nightmare Nights is only a few shorts days away. I have created a peice to sell at the con. I did the main six plus a few others I like. I did this with pastel and pencil. Still not 100% done. I am going to clean it up and add just a tiny bit more detail. My camera didn't pick up all the details in this sadly but I wanted to show you guys the over all look.

slightly for this piece. I have never drawn ponies before this so I took a basic pony base for reference and used the outline. I filled in all the details ( tails, manes, eyes, cutie marks, ect.) and colored it free hand. I draw them now without tracing finding that I can free hand them easily. I know people frown on tracing but for simple things as long as you never claim the art as your own and you don't just trace the image detail for detail it can be a good tool to help you improve on your drawing.
