Just a quick small gift for Hector, which I couldn't give earlier because a certain somebody kept eating all the cakes!! Can't blame Steele, though. One can never say no to those eyes...

The kitchen smelled like chocolate once again, as the oven slowly but surely baked the cake to perfection... or something very close to it. At least that's what the green dragon was expecting. After all he considered himself a beginner no more. More than two dozen cakes of experience was more than enough practise. Even more so in a single day.

Hector had left Steele with Tzin, the Mexican dragon, so that the fatty grey wolf could enjoy his birthday with his friends. And this made the perfect excuse for the pudgy reptilian to prepare a great surprise for his canine friend. However, he would have never expected that Steele would be so hard not to pamper and spoil. Cake after cake that came out of the oven ended up one way or another stuffed into the husky's maw, and added to his no longer trim body. Not that either minded for a while, but as time passed by, and Hector's return approached, Tzin began having a hard time keeping himself focused on baking a cake for the wolf.

The oven dinged and Tzin retrieved the cake form the oven, covering it neatly with a layer of fudge and placing the candles (that somehow had survived Steele's ravenous hunger). The dog, laying on the floor whinned and begged from the floor in his semi-immobile state, pinned under his now massive belly. Then the doorbell rang: just in time. Tzin turned towards him and whispered to the dog's ear:

"Don't move, I'll be right back."

As soon as Tzin walked through the kitchen door, Steele looked at the cake. Time for dessert...
