Wow, normally I see people drawing a person who draw something that later became real or a guy who came from a canvas and still in process of being drawn. But this concept is new to me ^ ^ And MY, that big? wow that´s amazing, how long it took you to finish it? I put my thumbs up XD
lol, I've seen many of those before. The concept behind this was to show my detachment to materialistic possessions in reality and only have aspects which are important to me which are the parts that are required for drawing.
this piece probably took around 6 hours and if you saw it up close you would understand why compared to other people who spent around 2 weeks on theirs XD.
thanks yo~

Interesting, then again, the idea gave a great results in the end ^ ^
That idea of making an inversed reflection between art and artist is impressive, I mean, this can be interpretated in two ways, perhaps more.
But so far I can see that you´re watching in a mirror where you can see yourself, but nothing else than the brain with the nerve´s system, and as an inverse´s effect, your reflection is the brain and he´s drawing you with all and skin.
The other interpretation can be that a random one that are just the brain and the nerve´s system, working with you in a protrait to one another XD But I´m more close with the first intepretation heheh.

It's the first. I drew it to imitate me looking into a mirror and seeing myself as this figure but I didn't clearly define the mirror so that viewers would wonder which side is (pseudo-)/Reality.
In self-portraits, most artists usually see their significant parts of themselves and exaggerate them on their piece even if they think they are being objective about it. So this portrait had the absence of my literal face and no usage of photos b/c they may have a huge influence of portraying myself literally. As a result, I drew this without the question of whether this looked like me based on how I or others would see myself in reality and objectively drew myself based on my values and other non-literal aspects.
