I feel locked out, and
the key is out of reach.
I once swam free,
but now, you see
I feel rather beached.
From what I've seen through windows.
You're on the inside asleep.
I stand outside alone,
hoping you'll maybe notice me.
I'm out here in the rain,
t's driving me insane.
I see no doors for miles, 'cept here.
Just a dark, blue, foggy plain.
So let me in before I drown,
in this melancholy shower.
Maybe later, maybe now,
or even in an hour.
Let me in so I can see,
it it feels, again, to be free.
the key is out of reach.
I once swam free,
but now, you see
I feel rather beached.
From what I've seen through windows.
You're on the inside asleep.
I stand outside alone,
hoping you'll maybe notice me.
I'm out here in the rain,
t's driving me insane.
I see no doors for miles, 'cept here.
Just a dark, blue, foggy plain.
So let me in before I drown,
in this melancholy shower.
Maybe later, maybe now,
or even in an hour.
Let me in so I can see,
it it feels, again, to be free.
