Just an idea for a Digivice I'm tossing around.
Seeing as all these darn devices are malfunctioning anyway, this one's designed to 'lock' the wearer in a Digimon form. It requires an external memory device to activate- allowing many alternate forms to used, and opening up potential for upgrade and expansion devices. (Okay, so I'm kiinda borrowing the GaiaMemory powerup from Kamen Rider W here)
So far, I've just come up with 'Full Moon' memory drive, which transforms the wearer into Renamon, Garrurumon, or a Werewolf, depending on the type of person.

Gonna have to hire Desmond Labs for development and testing. >3>
