Just do you know I haven't been slacking off at work modelling the leomon, I have put together this thing.
Its supposed to be a design for a gateway arch at some port logistics center somewhere in south china.
the top design is a solid concrete cast design meant to be abstract and resemble those 'spacial paradox' shapes.
The lower design is a more industrial version of the first design.

Been keeping an eye on what you've been doing but these architectural drawings are quite interesting, these arches have some thoughts running through my head.
The upper version is something that I'd expect to find in a more urban city center setting because its more basic looking, solid.
Lower archway is more suitable for an industrial setting because its metallic and has the dark brown earthy color that would make it fit into that kind of area. Depending on the budget for this you could almost enhance the archway by making it so that the letters light up at night, possibly even add dim orange colored flood lighting inside each base shining up through the structure so it's lit up at night. Another possibility... By placing shiny steel plates on a 45 degree angle at the top of each column the orange flood light shining up inside the structure from the base would be reflected towards the lit up letters at center to give the whole thing a unique night time appearance. Those are just my artistic thought on it, no idea on if these are serious plans as I"m not there, don't know about any budget constraints or if such accessories would even be considered by the planning depts. there.
keep doing whatever projects and artwork that you can as your 3D stuff is pretty unique to me.

I've not been on location yet, but from what I hear the location is a semi-industrial area, there aren't any factories or heavy infrastructure nearby, but there will be alot of trucks going in and out of this location. I would say it resembles the a large warehousing complex with some administrative buildings.
And yeah, night time lighting could really liven this design up. I just havent gotten around to rendering it yet.
Also, keep an eye out for these things, I will be doing a whole lot more architecture now that its more or less my job =p
