Suitor: "GULP!"

Reminds me of meeting my younger cousin's fiancee (they're happily married now). She doesn't have any brothers, so I was the one that gave him the handshake and the look. "Pleased to meet you. I've heard a lot about you. Congratulations to you both, best wishes and if I ever find out that you've hurt her, I'll kill you." I didn't actually say that but I think HR got the point.
Ah the 50's back when clean honest fun still existed in the wild, and you could actually get away with this sort of thing. These days, everyone is always to uptight and stressed out that fun just evaporates in proximity with them. So now it has to be bred in captivity until the day where the ecosystem balances itself out again and fun can reemerge once again.

Eh, I feel like I'm gonna be in the huge minority here but I can KINDA empathize with Dad here. It's gotta be really hard seeing your little girl blooming into a young lady and having suitors come a-callin' for her. I don't think there's ANY Dad in this world who wants to envision their daughter in the midst of a tryst as someone's sexual partner...well, at least I would *HOPE* so, anyways! (Any dad who would actually be comfortable or happy imagining that's gotta to have one messed-up mind...) One would realize at this point that their favorite memories with them as a young child are now only just that-memories, and they'll never get them back again...
But on the other hand, you can't hold on to 'em forever, can you? Well, I suppose you COULD, if you wanted to be a real major jackass and crush your daughter's heart...and that would only give her all the more reason to rebel against you!

Random reference, but it came off as stylised where as this comes off as just a bit undisciplined artistically where the effect you end up with is that you have some out of scale wonky (wonky as in odd line work wonky, not surreallist wonky) houses with a white fence two meters behind them, beyond which the darn world just ends and the blue void begins.
Besides I wouldn’t be using that show as a point of reference, after all in that show’s big ‘ooh we’re not in the 90s anymore’ moment they just drew a drone and a Starbucks coffee shop into a scene that looked just like something from their original run so I’d say they aren’t people you could hold up as a paragon of artistic design when it comes to backgrounds.
Sorry to be so negative I genuinely like the way you do characters but I have the feeling backgrounds aren’t your biggest strength... Or at least I got the feeling you don’t like to work on them as much.
