Comish - Reaching Down to Earth
~~~
Gradient shaded comish for
Saybin of the dragon, Saybin!
Yeaaah, I love how this one turned out! Saybin and I were talking about different poses for this guy, and he decided on a cominatcha pose! I can't remember the last time I did a piece like this, so this sure was a treat to work on! And the more I worked on it, the more it became so pretty and ethereal, with the colours and atmosphere. :D I like to imagine that he's flying on the edge of a storm on a summer evening, reaching down to the viewer and saying, 'C'mon, fly with me!'
Thanks Saybin! Hope ya like!
Holy crap you snuck this in as I left for work! and wow, this turned out quite nice!
I was initially worried about how it would turn out, as I have not seen many front views of him, so the unknown factor was a little terrifying. However I should have just treasured the Saint as you delivered. Despite being a white dragon, your coloration brings him to like very quickly, an right away you can picture the storm and lighting that you described. The proportions as well as the body and detail work are flawless, I dare say this is one of the best renditions of me to date!
Twilight, it was a pleasure to work with you, and when your not burned out let ls talk about that big project ;)
Thank you!
