A discussion on the Freefall's forum regarding my fanart had someone saying that naked schematics aren't very interesting, and another pointing out that robots might enjoy them... and so I drew this.

the SR-71 used Pratt & Whitney J58-P4 Turbojets, though at top speed it received more thrust from the afterburner due to the high airflow through the bypass channels causing the shockwaves from the intakes to heat the air and make the turbine less effective. it wasn't a ramjet, just a well designed turbojet.
