Jeebus, I need to start timing myself when I work so that I'll just stick to what I'm paid for. Went rather overboard on this piece for svarta-perlan, but she's such a dear, I know she doesn't mind ;) Snjólaug is such a beautiful character, and getting a cold front in over the weekend really got me pumped for winter. I'll be traveling to North Carolina at the beginning of December and I hoping I might actually get to see some snow! Snjólaug is a nature shaman so I imagine when she feels like winter has run its course in her land, she conjures life back into the environment and brings spring.
