The details in this commission are amazing; the decals on the bike, the reflection off the glass, the sign and houses in the background, and the clouds in the sky. I love Kaneda's biker clothing you added to my character. I especially love the one point perspective done with the highway.
It's freaking awesome! I'm very happy with how this turned out. :D

Ah. Well the movie was based off the manga adaptation by Katsuhiro Otomo which loosely followed the entire series so I wasn't expecting a sequel.
I will say that the movie is a cult classic on it's own merit and I sincerely hope they don't make a USA live-action version of it.
If you enjoyed Akira I recommend checking out Steamboy . It's not perfect (not even close to Akira standards) but it's from the same director plus the animation is hella awesome! :)
